Stuff White People Like - Fabulously Funny Blog

I had to share this hilarious (and unfortunately pretty accurate) blog - Stuff White People Like. My favorites are Difficult Breakups and Standing Still At Concerts.

What is wrong with us?! I don't know, but at least we can now laugh at our own ridiculousness.

Enjoy!
Heather :)

Read Heather Strang's Story in 20 Something Manfiesto

It's finally here!
20 Something Manifesto is a book filled with 20-something stories, meant to empower 20-something's into living their best life. Author Christine Hassler, accomplishes exactly this.

Read my true story of inspiration after marriage and divorce (twice!) during my 20's. Not surprisingly, what appeared at the outset to be my biggest life mistakes quickly became my greatest lessons. Had I not been married, I would never have become the fabulous Heather that I am today. ;) Incidentally I learned that it had NOTHING to do with the boys and everything to do with my growth and development as a woman.

Order a copy today! It's a perfect gift for the 20-something in your life or for your own reading pleasure.

Much love,
Heather

Happy Valentine's Day from Heather Strang

"Today would be a perfect day to fall in love with YOURSELF." (caps added) - Alan Cohen

I could not have said it better. Today, do something incredibly indulgent just for YOU. Buy an organic dark chocolate bar, get a mid-day pedicure or spend an afternoon having tea with a friend. Whatever it is, today is about YOU.

Enjoy!

Much love,
Heather :)

Bored.com - You'll Love It!

Click here to create your own painting.

I hit a brick wall on an article I'm writing and decided to check out blog comments to kill time. A reader on Eat Wheat-Free, Dairy-Free and Low Sugar had this neat-o item on her blog. So what do you think, does the painting look like me? I think it does. Enjoy some non-work, creative time and create your own. Good luck! :) Heather

Oprah & Eckart Tolle Team Up - Join Them

Oprah never ceases to amaze me. I'm not a huge book club fan (I thought her public shaming of James Frey was over the top and I read Eat. Pray. Love. far before she told me to) BUT she's doing something really amazing that you need to know about.

She's joined forces with Eckhart Tolle (author of the Power of Now - if you haven't read it - do so - it rocks!) to offer the world an incredible opportunity - join an online class with Oprah and Tolle to dissect his newest book, A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose. Wow!

I love Tolle and the book sounds fabulous.

If you decide to take part in the online class or have read the book - leave a post here. Otherwise, I'll see you online. The class begins March 3rd and its free. Thanks Oprah!

Happy Reading & Life Purpose Finding!

Movies You Need to See - The Moses Code & The Nine's

Had to share this - I just watched The Nine's last night written and directed by John August and starring the surprisingly yummy (when did this guy get hot?!) Ryan Reynolds.

It's deep, well-written and fun to watch. The boyfriend and I watched it last night and I'm still thinking about it.

And, there's a new movie coming out soon called The Moses Code, which takes the whole Law of Attraction thing to another level. I recently saw Neale Donald Walsh speak and it was fantastic. It isn't just about manifesting for ourselves, it's about helping/serving others. Now, THAT'S a message I can get on board with.

Have you seen the Nine's? Hosting a screening of The Moses Code? Leave a comment here.

Happy Living,
xoHeather
